Yar'Adua political future

Today's arrest of ex-governor of Delta State, James Ibori, by officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has further thrown open Nigeria's political equation.
I have been thinking aloud since the news broke this morning over the political implications of Ibori's arrest.
I understand he is one of the alleged "secret financiars" of Yaradua's presidential campaign and his dividend...immunity from arrest and prosecution.
The presidential election petition tribunal has already been inundated with all manner of evidences to ensure cancellation of last April's presidential polls which has been dubbed the most fraudulent in Nigeria's history.
If i may ask...will president Yaradua survive the political onslaught that awaits him having stepped on many powerful toes? will Ibori and other aggrieved political gladiators spill the beans so they dont drown alone?
Can someone educate me more so i can solve these knotty equations before me?

Really who cares what the political equation is? I am just glad that finally the thieves are getting caught.
To think Ibori and Alams were planning to host their partner in crime, Terry Waya today? God is indeed on the throne and one by one they will fall.
Yar'Adua is a completely satisfied man and as a Muslim who believes in the will of God, i don't see him interfering in this matter.
One more to go (Odili)

President Yar'Adua should step on all toes...Nigerians are behind him.
In the event of fresh elections all the pretenders will be thrown out and Yar'Adua will be electd.

God in his wisdom said in the bible that the hearts of men are desparately wicked, Yardua is doing the right thing, since our past and present leaders do not want us to enjoy the goodies of God in Nigeria, what option do they leave us the masses but to ask God to disgrace them either by EFCC, DEATH, HOSTAGE TAKING. afterall cow wey no get tail na God dey pursue flies for am.

This is the beauty of democracy and the new twist of 'rule of law' - apologies Mr AGF. So why should anyone have sleepless night for a democratic process? If Ibori financed his fellow Governors Presidential bid from the treasury of his State Government and turns around to spill the bean then he his guilty as accused.

The President will still have his day in court with or without Ibori. That is the beauty of democracy and the rule of law.

Meanwhile, can we please get on with better things about nation building?
